Flash photography is all about choosing where you do, and where you don’t want light, and one of the most valuable tools for keeping light out of areas you don’t want it is the flag.

The flag is one of the simplest, and most useful flash modifiers, and what’s even better is it’s dead simple to make one that you can have with you ALL THE TIME. Even better, it’s super cheap so you can make a bunch of them!
